| This criteria is provided by the Architectural Committee to assure a uniform external appearance, architectural compatibility and as an indication of previously approved modifications within Beachwalk. It is required that any external modifications be submitted to the Architectural Committee for review and recommendation to the Beachwalk Board of Directors who have the ultimate approval authority.
Front Doors and Screens
Homeowners may replace the front door with a door of their choice that may include material changes and glass panels. Doors may be left natural color or may be painted white only. Screen doors may also be added to front doors for ventilation and/or added security. An eye brow addition above the front door is also permitted with approval to provide weather protection or for appearance.
Glass Slider Doors
Slider doors may be replaced with the same design or French doors. Materials can be white vinyl, aluminum, steel or wood. The replacement of screen doors is also permitted. You must comply with energy code T-24. Permit is required if stucco is broken (nail on’s or new construction etc.) and new lath is required. Retro-fits need no permit.
