BEACHWALK HOMEOWNER ASSOCIATION

REAR COURTYARD GATE CRITERIA

#1. Any homeowner who chooses to install a gate in the rear courtyard fence of their home will bear all cost of the modification. While Beachwalk maintains ail original wood fences the homeowner must assume all cost and liability of this modification. Beachwalk does not maintain any gates installed by homeowners.

#2. All material used must be of the same size and material composition of the existing wood fence.

#3. All gates must open to the inside of the courtyard.

#4. Gates can be up to 48 inches in width and of the standard height of the existing fence.

#5. When a gate is installed in the rear courtyard the gate must match the look of the fence.

#6. All gates must be painted to match the existing color of the fence.

#7. If a homeowner installs a gate in the common fence between their own property and common neighbor there must be neighbor consent for the gate to be installed.

#8. When a fence is in need of replacement by the association the onsite repair crew will not reinstall a gate in the fence. These gates are at the option of the existing homeowner and are installed at homeowner cost.

#9. Any modifications to this guideline must be approved by the Architectural Committee and Board of Directors.
