Introduction
This criteria is provided by the Architectural Committee to assure a uniform external appearance and architectural compatibility within Beachwalk,
External Appearance
Patio covers shall be constructed of wood material with a western style open lattice cover consisting of 2 inch x 2 inch slats spaced every 3 inches. Headers shall be supported by posts of a maximum size 6 inch x 6 inch. Patio covers must be painted to match existing trim color approved by the Beachwalk Board of Directors. No solid (covered) roofs permitted.
Building Codes
It is the homeowner's responsibility to comply with current Huntington Beach building codes for the intended project. The codes are subject to revision without notification and a permit is required.
The Architectural Committee reserves the right to inspect work in progress or the completed project to insure compliance with the specific project description approved by the Committee. It is the homeowner's responsibility to inform the Architecture Committee when work begins and is completed.
