All vehicles (other than prohibited vehicles), which are in excess
of 7 feet 6 inches high are classified as “restricted”
and are subject to the following Rules and Regulations
.
A. Each home unit will be permitted to park one (1) such vehicle
within the confines of Beachwalk for a limited period of time not
to exceed thirty six (36) hours in any seven (7) consecutive days
(such 36 hour limit to be consecutive hours with one break in the
running to be permissible).
B. During the permitted period, such vehicle may be parked within,
and on, the driveway of the responsible resident’s home unit
in such a manner so that it neither protrudes into the street nor
lays upon adjacent vegetation, or, such vehicle may be parked on
one of the group or guest parking spaces closest to the resident’s
home unit, but only so long as the vehicle does not protrude into
or obstruct the common roadway.
C. A restricted vehicle needed as a fill-in vehicle to use on a
day-to-day basis to take the place of a private passenger vehicle
needing necessary repairs may be used 30 days maximum as such fill-in
so long as the responsible resident gives immediate notice of such
to a member of the Board of Directors and at the same time provides
such directors with the name and telephone number of repairing entity
and/or person. The maximum yearly use of such vehicle for fill-in
purposes is ninety (90) days total per year.
A. Mobile home trailers, trailer mounted boats, other trailer mounted
equipment, and non-motorized vehicles of all kinds, not classified
as prohibited vehicles, and regardless of height, shall be subject
to the provisions of Restricted Vehicles.
B. Under no circumstances shall boats and other equipment, not wheel
mounted, be placed on driveways, streets, or in designated parking
areas.
There shall be no repairing of vehicles on streets, driveways, or
in designated parking stalls, except for emergency repairs.
Vehicles of all types belonging to or being operated by guest of
Beachwalk residents shall be subject to the same Rules and Regulations
previously stated.
A. Doors must be kept closed when the resident is not working in
the garage.
B. Garage may be used for parking of vehicles and
related purposes only.
C. Garages may not be converted to livable area or subdivided into
rooms. This is against the Huntington Beach City Code.
D. There shall be no ball playing against the surface of garage
doors or against any part of the buildings.
A. To make reservations, first call the Chairperson
handling Clubhouse Reservations to check availability of the required
date and time. See the “Breeze” for the name and telephone
number of the Clubhouse Reservation Chairperson.
B. The Beachwalk Board of Directors’ policy is that homeowner’s
delinquent in their assessments shall be denied the use of the Clubhouse
until their assessments are current. These same restrictions apply
to tenants whose owner is delinquent.
C. The system for making Clubhouse reservations is as follows:
- Reservations are made through the Clubhouse Reservation Chairperson
during normal business hours.
- Reservations will be accepted only from adult residents of
Beachwalk
- No fee, admission charge or price shall be charged for distribution
or service of any alcoholic beverages at any party. No organization
shall plan any central or organized distribution of liquor even
though no fee contribution or charge is demanded or asserted.
You must comply with all State of California, Alcoholic Beverage
Laws and Ordinances that apply.
- All activities are to be confined to the Clubhouse area. Pool
areas are off limits to those attending the function.
- Please be considerate of your neighbors. Keep the rear doors
closed.
- Guests and hosts are subject to all Beachwalk Rules and Regulations.
- Guests and hosts will vacate the Clubhouse and adjacent areas
immediately if so requested by a member of the Board, Activities
Committee Representative or Police or Fire Department Representative
or by the Management Company.
- All appliances, lights, heating and air-conditioning will
be turned off and all doors closed and locked before leaving.
- Excessive noise or misuse of the Clubhouse can result in
suspension of the right to use to Clubhouse facilities in the
future, as stated in the Association by laws, Article 6.B.
- Maximum room capacity is 93 persons.
- The Clubhouse key will be returned promptly to the Clubhouse
Reservation Chairperson.
- All trash and items brought by the homeowner or the tenant
must be cleaned by the homeowner or tenant.
D. Rental of the club house
- Private activities not open to all Beachwalk residents.
- Deposit: $150 plus a $35 non-refundable fee. Deposit is required
two (2) weeks prior to reserved time.
- Check payable to: Beachwalk Homeowners Association.
- Deposit refunds will be made as soon as possible after assigned
representative checks Clubhouse. If cleaning and security deposit
is not sufficient to pay for unusual damages, the Board may
impose additional assessments and/or penalty. Reservations are
made subject to the following condition. You will be required
to sign a document-acknowledging acceptance of the conditions
before being given the key.
- All Clubhouse renters must sign a “Release” form
prior to rental of the Clubhouse.
- May not be held on a regular basis, unless the board approves
it.
- The adult resident making the reservation is responsible for
all damage and clean up.
- The adult resident making the reservation is to be present
at all times during the use of the Clubhouse and is the responsible
party.
- Activities must terminate at 11:00 p.m. on Sunday through
Thursday and 1:00 a.m. on Friday, Saturday and national holidays.
- No “Open House”. Guest must be by invitation only.
- No admission fee, donation, or paid ticket function may be
held. This is to include fundraising for any political, charitable,
institutional or educational organizations.
E. Non rental of the club house
- Activities are open to all Beachwalk residents. Activities
could be scheduled on a regular basis with the board’s
approval.
- Each regularly scheduled Beachwalk Activity (e.g., Good Guys,
Ladies Bridge, Couples Bridges) shall have a responsible resident
who shall maintain a roster of the regular participants to validate
that at least 75% of the regular participants in an activities
committee function are Beachwalk residents. The roster of each
of the activities members shall be made available to the Board
of Directors upon request. Bridge Group substitutes or houseguests
invited to a function on a non-repetitive basis are excluded
from the “75% Beachwalk Resident”rule.
- For Beachwalk functions that occur on a random or infrequent
basis and for which a fee is charged (e.g. a New Year’s
Party), priority shall be given to allow resident participation
on a first priority basis.
- All Beachwalk functions shall be coordinated with the Clubhouse
Rental Representative. Conflict of requested scheduled dates
between Beachwalk functions and individual homeowners shall
be brought to the Board of Directors for Resolution. The decision
of the Board shall be final.
